Webinars are dedicated to a lot of different topics, such as test-driving of EAs, stock market reviews, technical analysis; as well as the latest and most important events of the financial industry. Participating in RoboMarkets webinars is free of charge. They are available to anyone who wants to join the sessions. Details about our webinars can be found on the "RoboMarkets events" page.
To register for a webinar, simply complete a short from on the “Events” page. Participation in our webinars is open to any trader, even if they are not clients of RoboMarkets.
Simply follow the link to the MyOwnConference website, which you will have received. Make sure you access this some 5 minutes before the start of the webinar. In the next window, enter your name or nickname. To access our webinars, you can also use your Facebook or Google profiles.
After clicking “Join”, you will be redirected to the webinar “room” where the event will be held. The webinar will start on the fixed time, which is specified in the schedule.
We use the MyOwnConference platform for holding online events. During the webinars, RoboMarkets experts deliver lectures on the various topics by sharing their computer screens with participants or by way of visual presentations slides. Any participant can ask questions in the chat, and hosts will provide the most detailed answers. Some days later (two or three), a recording of this webinar is made available on the “Past events” page.
MyOwnConference is the platform where RoboMarkets holds all its webinars. The service is available in any browser, as long as you have a stable Internet connection along with headphones or speakers. Downloading webinars from MyOwnConference is not possible, but you can watch them at any time on the “Past events” page.
A webinar session usually lasts 50-60 minutes, but it may take longer in case the participants have many questions that the hosts need to elaborate on. The duration of the webinars may vary depending on the complexity of the discussed topics and the host’s tempo of speech.
Recordings of webinars, as well as presentations and other materials used during the lecture, can be found on the “Past events” page. This page also features photos from RoboMarkets offline events.
It is not possible to download webinar from the RoboMarkets website or the MyOwnConference platform. However, you can watch them online, as they are uploaded to the “Past events” page 2-3 days after they have been held.
In this section, find out how to solve different technical issues that you may face when joining webinars.
In case of any technical issues, such as no sound/picture or problems with the chat, check your hardware and Internet connection. MyOwnConference offers you the possibility to run the test, which will quickly let you know of any failures.
Try to refresh the browser page by pressing Ctrl+F5. In case this doesn’t help, try reconnecting to the Internet.
Check the sound on your device and make sure it is enabled. To do this, find the speakers (headphones) icon on the desktop of your laptop or PC, and to open a dialog window to adjust the volume.
Reset the zoom level in your browser to 100%. The chat will appear on the screen as soon as you have done this.
Refresh the webinar page (Ctrl+F5) or reconnect to the Internet.
Check the date and time on your device. In case they are incorrect, set them correctly.
