The "Trade flow is busy" message appears when a client sends a new order to the server without waiting for a response to the previous request. Usually this message means there is a short-term loss of connection with the trading server. If the client has not received a response from the server to their first request, then their next order is placed in queue on the client terminal.
This message means that there is not enough margin on your account to open a position of the desired volume.
In order to avoid receiving the message, try to do one of the following:
To find out the amount of margin required for opening a position, use the free Trading Calculator tool.
The formula to calculate the margin is:
<Margin> = <Size of the contract> / <Leverage>
A detailed example of how to use this formula is shown in the answer to "How can I calculate the margin?"
The cost of 1 point for every financial instrument is calculated according to the following formula:
<Cost of 1 point> = (Contract * (Price + One_Point)) - (Contract * Price)
Contract – the contract size.
Price – the current quote of the asset.
One_Point – the size of 1 point.
We need to calculate the cost of 1 point for a position in EURGBP.
Position type: long (Buy).
Position volume: 1 lot (100,000 units of the base currency).
Current price: 0.8365.
Account currency: USD.
<Cost of 1 point> = (100,000 * (0.8365 + 0.0001)) - (100,000 * 0.8365) = 10.00 GBP
Due to the difference between the account currency and the asset base currency, you have to convert this number into USD. To do this, multiply it by the current rate of GBPUSD.
10.00 GBP * 1.5417 = 15.47 USD
You can calculate the cost of 1 point for positions in any instrument by using the Trading Calculator tool.
Demo accounts have been created both for beginners with little knowledge and more experienced traders.
After training or testing on a Demo account, you can start trading on a real account, but only if you are aware of all the operational risks involved for trading in the financial markets.
When switching to a real account, select it according to the type of demo account you have used earlier. Below are the RoboMarkets demo and real trading accounts with corresponding conditions:
Orders are closed automatically for the following reasons:
The charts in the trading terminal are built based on the Bid price, but only long (Buy) positions are closed at the Bid price. Short (Sell) positions are closed at the Ask price.
As a result, your short positions will be closed at the price that is not displayed on the chart, until you enable the Ask line to display in the chart settings.
In MetaTrader terminals, it can be done in "Charts" -> "Settings".
This may happen to Buy Stop, Sell Stop, and Stop Loss orders.
When these orders are triggered, the system sends the Market order that is executed at the current price, which may differ from the declared price.
Other types of pending orders (Buy Limit, Sell Limit, and Take Profit) are mostly executed at the specified price; and sometimes at the better price, if this exists on the market at the time of execution.
Simply use the Trading Calculator tool, or calculate the margin by yourself according to the formula.
<Margin> = <Contract size> / <Leverage>
Contract size - the order volume in the base currency of the trading asset (the first currency in the ticker). The order volume of 1 lot for all currency pairs is always equal to 100,000 units of the instrument base currency.
Leverage - the leverage value.
You open a long position of 1 lot in EURUSD with the leverage value 1:20.
<Margin> = 100,000 / 20 = 5,000 EUR
If your account currency is USD, but not EUR, you have to convert the margin amount into your account currency. To do this, multiply it by the current rate of EURUSD (1.2345).
<Margin> = 5,000 * 1.2345 = 6,172.50 USD
No. To change the type or the base currency of the account, you have to open a new account with the desired parameters.
