System administrator (VOIP)

RoboMarkets is expanding its IT team - we're looking for a System administrator with VOIP telephony experience. The major tasks will be the 2nd line employees support; administrating office IT equipment, network and servers, including VOIP service.

Job requirements:

  • Administration of server and network infrastructure in the office, Asterisk-based telephone server in particular
  • Maintenance of uninterrupted performance of VOIP telephony
  • Technical support for other employees regarding telephony
  • Control over the quality of providers’ VOIP services
  • Participation in developing, expanding, and optimizing the company's telephony
  • Development and fulfilment of regulations relating to maintenance of the office infrastructure and services
  • Dealing with the office equipment performance issues
  • Participation in developing, expanding, and optimizing the server and network infrastructure
  • Provision of internal and external IT security
  • Quick response to critical issues
  • Technical support for other employees
  • Support and development of archive and data backup systems
  • Control over the quality of services and equipment provided by providers and hardware suppliers
  • Implement and maintain technical documentation on network and service schemes up-to-date

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience in working with Asterisk-based telephony infrastructure
  • Administrating Windows and Linux Servers
  • Network administration
  • Multi-tasking
  • Know how to get outside of a problem and find solution options

Will be considered as an advantage:

  • Degree in IT engineering
  • At least 1 year of practical experience in the same position
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP stack, SIP and RTP in particular
  • Know how to analyse SIP traffic (tcpdump, sngrep, wireshark)
  • Experience in MacOS
