Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced individual to join RoboMarkets in the position of Data Engineer in Limassol, Cyprus.
In the course of work, you will be a part of the Analytics team that supports the product and functional teams.
Our current stack is:
- Mysql
- BigQuery
- ELK
- Python
- Qlik Sense
Your role responsibilities:
- Playing a key part in data warehouse development, designing data warehouse and data pipelines architecture
- Building data marts
- Developing and supporting ETL processes
- Data modeling development for the data warehouse
- Assuring data quality, automating data quality checks and notifications
- Creating automation workflows
- Searching for ways to improve data delivery and extraction time for business users
- Writing documentation and populating the knowledge database
- Supporting BI-server (Qlik)
Your skills must include:
- 3+ years of experience in the area
- Experience in implementing DWH for retail business
- Proficiency in SQL, and the use of analytical functions and stored procedures and code in Python
- Knowledge of ETL-frameworks and automation tools
- You will be required to keep a close watch on modern technologies and best practices to implement them for the benefit of the business
- Knowledge of concepts and principles of DWH architecture (layers, logical arrangement and data modeling)
- Knowledge of DBMS concepts, understanding of the main features of various database management systems, and knowing how these fit particular areas of use
- Know how optimizer works, know indexing, partitioning, etc
- Know how to work with third-party API (e.g., Big Query, Google Analytics)
